MyHousekeeper Terms & Conditions
Once Myhousekeeper commences work for the client it is agreed that the following terms have been accepted by the client.
Quotes: Myhousekeeper will quote the job, either a one off clean or an ongoing clean. The details will be provided in writing, with cost and detail of work that will be completed. On acceptance of the quote the work will commence and the client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions as referred to on the quote.
Payments: For the first clean an invoice will be provided for ease of setting up account details. For ongoing cleans a checklist will be left which has all bank details on it. The cost of the clean is as agreed above. MyHousekeeper prefers bank transfers as payment, or the client can pay directly into the bank account as listed. Cheques are not accepted. Payment is required the day of service or for a one off clean within 3 days. Overdue payments will result in a 15% surcharge being charged, interest of 2% being charged daily and any costs incurred by a collection agent will be charged to the client.
Access: The client will allow access into the home and will confirm how MyHousekeepers staff will have access. Failure to provide access to the home will incur a fee of 50% of the cleaning fee.
Refund: Our work is guaranteed however we do not offer a refund. If you are dissatisfied with our housekeeping service for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your service and we will return to rectify the areas to your satisfaction.
Non-solicitation: MyHousekeeper staff work exclusively for MyHousekeeper and have a non-solicitation and restraint of trade clause in their contracts. The client agrees they will not engage or approach a current or previous MyHousekeepers staff to work directly for them. A breach of this agreement will result in a one off finders fee charged to the client for this service of $4900.00 plus any legal costs.
Cancellation: Cancellation of bookings March to October shall be seventy tow (72) hours in advance on all confirmed bookings during normal days. A penalty fee of 50% quoted value will apply if you fail to notify us within the notification period. Cancellation of a clean November to February require a 2 week notice period, failure to do this will result in 75% of the quoted value applying. We will do our best to arrive on time at your home. Please note that we can only give an estimated time due to traffic etc.
Termination: The agreement can be terminated by either party at any time giving 2 weeks notice. Or unless agreed by both parties.
